Welcome to Sampann Resort! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website https://sampannresort.com, and any bookings made with us. By using our website or staying with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Reservations & Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a confirmation email from our side.
  • Advance Payment: We may require a partial or full advance payment to secure your booking. The exact amount will be communicated during the booking process.
  • Payment Methods: We accept UPI, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and other methods as listed on our website.
  • Balance Payment: Any remaining payment (if applicable) must be settled during check-in or before check-out, as specified.

2. Check-in & Check-out

  • Standard Check-in Time: [12:00 PM]
  • Standard Check-out Time: [11:00 AM]
  • Early Check-in / Late Check-out: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us in advance.
  • Guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in (Aadhaar, Passport, or Driver’s License).

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Guest Cancellations:
    • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date: Eligible for a full/partial refund (minus transaction fees, if applicable).
    • Cancellations made within 29 days: May be subject to partial or no refund, depending on the timing and our policy.
  • No-shows: Treated as cancellations and are non-refundable.
  • Resort-Initiated Cancellations: In rare cases (e.g., force majeure, safety concerns), we may cancel your reservation. If so, you will receive a full refund or an option to reschedule.

4. Guest Conduct & Responsibilities

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we request that all guests:

  • Treat the property, staff, and other guests with respect.
  • Follow all house rules and safety guidelines provided at check-in.
  • Refrain from illegal activities or behaviour that disturbs other guests.
  • Take care of personal belongings — the resort is not liable for loss or theft unless it occurs due to proven negligence on our part.

5. Damages & Liability

  • Guests are responsible for any damage to resort property caused by them or their party during their stay.
  • The cost of repair or replacement will be charged accordingly.
  • While we take all reasonable precautions, we are not liable for:
    • Accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay.
    • Loss of valuables not deposited with us for safekeeping.
    • Delays or cancellations caused by natural calamities, transport strikes, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Use of Facilities

  • Some facilities (pool, spa, activities) may have separate operating hours, charges, and safety requirements.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially near the pool or waterfront.
  • Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and in accordance with local laws.

7. Website Usage

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse or interfere with the website’s security features.
  • Upload malicious software or attempt to access restricted areas.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably, failing which they shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alibag.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
